Pro Sky and Panda Flight Management merger to benefit corporate jet customers.
2010-06-16
Pro Sky, specialists in customised flights and Panda Flight Management, a leader in the executive charter sector, are joining forces to offer a range of improved services for their customers under the name, "Pro Sky Panda Flight".
Reinhard Geister, MD of Panda Flight Management, is transferring to the Pro Sky base at Cologne, where he will be responsible for heading the Corporate Jets division at the new company.
“We are pooling our competencies in order to continue to grow dynamically in the business jets market,” explains Reinhard Geister. “Here, Pro Sky’s international focus plays just as important a role as the managerial skills of the Cologne flight professionals.”
For business clients, the benefits are huge. Firstly, a significantly larger team of specialists means customers will enjoy a much improved service, in terms of speed, efficiency and expertise. At the same time, Pro Sky will increase its market volume significantly, so corporate jet customers can expect even more attractive prices.
Armin Truger, the MD for Pro Sky, says the merger also has a long-term strategic element: “The need for business jets is growing again. Now is the right time to reinforce our management team.”
According to Achim Figgen from the trade journal Aero International, prospects for business aviation are generally improving: “The increase in the number of flights over the past few months is a clear signal that we are seeing a gradual return to growth in business aviation.”
Clearly, the merger is good news for both "Pro Sky Panda Flight" and its customers.
