From 21 to 23 May, Pro Sky, the expert for group and VIP travel, was at IMEX 2019 in Frankfurt and advised trade fair visitors on charter and scheduled flights, trend destinations and incentive travel. At the fair the Pro Sky team not only presented the results of the German and European editions of the PRO SKY Destination Report 2019, but also the brand new function of the online platform Find & Fly.
Two speaking sessions as part of the official IMEX program, an article in the IMEX Daily Paper, and the first PRO SKY Destination Award ceremony. From the first day it was obvious that IMEX would be a success for Pro Sky. "We had a broad mix of discussion partners", says Daniel Kusenbach, Director Sales. "From MICE planners, hotel & airline representatives, DMC´s and trade fair marketers to specialist publishers". The fact that such a broad audience was showing interest was an excellent sign. "And all our customers appreciated our holistic approach and outstanding service," explains Susanne Günther, Key Account Manager at Pro Sky. IMEX has proven to be the ideal event to convey exactly these qualities.

DESTINATION REPORT MORE IN DEMAND THAN EVER BEFORE
This year Pro Sky was represented twice in the official IMEX program. While the Director of Marketing and Product Development, Quentin Rouxel, presented the results of the European version of the PRO SKY Destination Report 2019 in the Inspiration Hub, Pro Sky's CEO, Armin Truger, concentrated on the results of the German edition in his presentation in the Communication Cube. "There was not a single seat left," recalls Eva Breuninger, International Marketing Manager at Pro Sky. "The trade fair visitors showed great interest. Not only at the German, but also at the European presentation. Of course, we are very pleased to see that our reports are highly relevant for MICE actors".
For the eighth edition of the PRO SKY Destination Report, Pro Sky had determined the current and future trend destinations together with over 450 European event professionals. At IMEX, Pro Sky presented the most popular European countries and metropolises, revealed the eight trend destinations of the future, addressed the destination criteria and the development of the event industry.

FIND & FLY: "Great enthusiasm for new radius function!"
At the Pro Sky booth visitors had the chance to test a brand new feature of Find & Fly even before the official release. Here—for the first time—users could check out which destinations they can reach by charter flight with a fixed budget. "The update was received with great enthusiasm at the fair," says Daniel Kusenbach, Director Sales. "Instant budgeting in particular was seen as real added value". The new function would be a great help in selecting the destination, as it would save time, give a quick overview and also list destinations that the user might not have considered as destinations before.
"We are looking forward to officially release the feature soon," adds Quentin Rouxel. "Then every user can check out Find & Fly to see which airports he can go to with his budget. The feedback from IMEX is very promising. We expect a very high demand." Currently the team is still working on the update. In a few weeks, however, it should be accessible to all users. "It won't take long," says Rouxel.

FIRST PRESENTATION OF THE PRO SKY DESTINATION AWARD
Another highlight at IMEX: the PRO SKY Destination Award. Quentin Rouxel, Director Marketing and Product Development, presented a total of eight Convention Bureaux with not only the award but also with the basis of the certificate, the German edition of the PRO SKY Destination Report. To name the Trend Destinations of the future more than 200 travel and event experts had shared their favorites. Based on this pre-selection, Pro Sky choosed the destinations that not only convinced the industry leaders surveyed, but also attracted attention with a special focus.
"We have attached great importance to new approaches and coherent concepts," says Linda Katharina Klein, Marketing Campaign Manager and responsible author of the report. This year's winners include Georgia, Copenhagen, Canada, China, Norway, Montenegro, Riga and Poland. Some of them made it not only among the German trend destinations of the future, but also among the European ones. The feedback? "Visit Norway/Norway Convention Bureau together with Norwegian partners have worked goal-oriented the last years to put Norway on the MICE map. It's therefore a great pleasure to receive the PRO SKY Destination Award 2019 as top eight trend destinations for MICE travel," said Frode Aasheim, Manager MICE of Visit Norway. "We really appreciate this award!"
