Environmental Responsibility
LET'S LEARN FROM EACH OTHER
"Sustainability is an item that we all need to put on our agenda. It's not just individuals who bear responsibility for society and the environment. Businesses also have a role to play in this regard. At Pro Sky, we acknowledge this responsibility and want to commit ourselves even more to it in future, together with our customers and partners. What motivates us here is our conviction that everyone can – and must – make their contribution.
We are therefore currently implementing new projects, aiming to make a difference, and realigning our priorities. It's not always easy, but we're making the effort. And we will be delighted when we can all learn from each other. After all, it's not only flying that connects. It's also the values we share."

Carbon calculator for group flights
CALCULATE & OFFSET CARBON EMISSIONS
Did you know that in cooperation with atmosfair we have been offering a carbon calculator for group flights since 2015? You can easily determine online your flight's carbon emissions and instantly find out how much to offset. If you want, you can pay for it and support climate protection projects. You'll receive a personal certificate and a receipt from atmosfair for your donation. Your contribution to climate protection is tax deductible.
But whatever the case may be, avoiding emissions is more important than offsetting emissions.

Main topic in the PRO SKY Destination Report 2020
SUSTAINABLE MICE TRAVEL
Sustainability is an item that MICE planners urgently need to put on their agenda. We also see ourselves as having responsibility and the PRO SKY Destination Report 2020 asked for the first time about the roles low-carbon travel, carbon offsetting and the avoidance of plastic play in choosing destinations. Our findings reveal that awareness is growing, but demand for sustainability remains too low. We therefore dedicate an entire section to sustainable MICE events, and let sustainability expert Martin Erhardt and Dominik Deubner, the founder of the MICE Club, have their say. And we reveal to MICE planners how they can make events and their own offices more sustainable.

WE WANT TO BECOME MORE SUSTAINABLE
This means starting with ourselves. That's why at the end of last year, we set up a working group on sustainability committing us to issues such as:
- How can we raise colleagues' awareness on the topic of sustainability?
- How can we conserve resources and use sustainable products?
- How can we avoid waste? What can we recycle?
- What guidelines can we develop (e.g. travel policy)?
WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED SO FAR?
