Pro Sky Fam Trip: exclusive cruise on the new Mein Schiff 2

Interactive ship tours, elegant dinners and a start DJ

Travelling together from Kiel to Hamburg via the Danish coast and from Bremen to the West Frisian coast and back provided ideal opportunities to experience first-hand the wide range of offers on board the Mein Schiff 2. An interactive ship tour was also available enabling participants to better understand the customer target group for such cruises without having to do their own research. A workshop in the conference room on deck 4 provided them with everything they needed to know about the wide range of services provided by the TUI Cruises Charter & Incentives team, its partners myseavent and Pro Sky. Event managers just needed to listen and experience their surroundings to get an authentic impression of a cruise on the Mein Schiff 2. As for the food, participants were able to enjoy visits to fine restaurants and experience first-hand the elegant dinners served up as part of the “Premium All Inclusive” concept. The evenings on board also offered a spectacular programme with music from Endless Entertainment and an interactive Karaoke show as well as a surprise appearance by star DJ Alle Farben, the highlight of the Fam Trip.

“We worked together very much as partners,” recalls Daniel Kusenbach, Director Sales, who was there representing Pro Sky. “The two groups were then able to get ideal insights into the infinite possibilities a cruise ship can offer, with many recognising the benefits of combining direct flights with cruises.” One reason for this was a presentation of the Find & Fly online platform which enables easy comparison of charter and scheduled flights. “Participants found instant budgeting for charter flights to be a particularly valuable feature,” says Kusenbach. During the cruise, the brand new function on the App was presented to event managers ahead of its official release date. Exclusive access was given to the new Radius feature and the managers were able to try out determining the destinations reachable by charter flight within a fixed budget.
