(Re-) discovering destinations - Famtrips are an ideal way for MICE decision-makers to gain a personal insight into upcoming event hotspots. Pro Sky did everything to surprise well-travelled event experts with unknown destinations. With success, as our examples show.
In May 2014, we surprised with a real MICE insiders’ tip: Armenia. The continuous development of the infrastructure and growing hotel capacities show that the Caucasus state is really on the up. Thanks to its old traditions and breath-taking landscape, the country is suitable for cultural, professional and sporting incentives. This diversity also impressed the participants on our Famtrip. An extract from the programme:
- Zvartnots: Only around 20 kilometres from the capital city, Erevan, the ruins are one of the most important archaeological sites in Armenia.
- Etchmiadzin Cathedral, which represents the religious centre of the country and, together with the ruins of Zvartnots, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- And, last but not least, naturally also the Tsaghkadzor ski resort (season from mid-September to mid-April), which extends over the south-eastern slope of the Teghenis mountain.
“Famtrips are ideally suited as lively destination consulting. What’s more, the participants can also try out our flight product live and meet the team of Pro Sky,” explains Gilles Meynard, Managing Director of Pro Sky France. As with a ‘real event’, guests are able to experience the benefits of our Airport & Inflight Services with Famtrips. Including on the Armenia Famtrip: for instance, every seat had an individual greeting with the guest's name printed on the headrest cover.
